To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Japanese Embassy in Ireland the winner of both the Mens and Womens Open event will each receive the Japanese Ambassador's Cup.
This will be a one off and will be theirs to keep and it will be presented by his excellency Keiichi Hayashi at the end of the two Open Finals.
Team Event
Also to celebrate this historical occasion there will be a senior men and women's team event.
Seven men and seven women will be chosen to represent Ireland against a Rest of Europe select and will be the culmination of the day's events on the Saturday.
